| Client Issue: | A large clinical trial management company needed to target and enroll Diabetic Nephropathy patients in a clinical trial. The target patient base is consumers with Type II Diabetes plus kidney disease. A contract had already been put in place between the management and pharmaceutical company. | | Simmons Solution: | Based on micro-targeting needed to find these patients, Experian Simmons employed two different campaigns. One, a series of custom questions was added to our survey to ask consumers if they had the condition and if they were interested in participating in a clinical trial. An email invitation with an online screener would then go out to those pre-qualified patients. Second, Experian Simmons emailed its Type II Diabetic population inviting them into the trial if they had diabetic nephropathy. The email had a toll free number, allowing patients to call with questions or they could directly to the online screener to determine if they were qualified for the trial. | | Results Achieved: | One hundred and twenty five new patient referrals were generated in thirty days. |
